Synopsis

Comedy legend Robert Klein returns to HBO for his ninth one-man show, 'Robert Klein: Unfair & Unbalanced.' Klein, who starred in HBO's first stand-up special back in 1975, remains true to form, this time with an assist from the Henry Mancini Institute Orchestra.

Before a packed house at the Amaturo Theater in Fort Lauderdale, Klein tackles head-scratchers such as congressmen running off to Argentina rather than running the country; the challenges of opening plastic packaging; and the average American's fascination with pop culture but his/her total lack of interest in grappling with truly important issues, among other topics. Beyond making wry observations, Klein will also perform original songs with the accompaniment of the full symphony orchestra.

Robert Klein: Unfair & Unbalanced was written and executive produced by Robert Klein; executive producer, Rory Rosegarten; producer, Bob Stein; directed by Linda Mendoza.
